4x6 coil for XLT

How does the 4X6 compare to the 5.3 Bullseye( 6inch) ??

I have the 5.3 for my IDX ,which uses the same coils as the XLT. I have hunted a park that is filled, and I mean filled with tabs and bottle caps ( 95% ARE trash) and I want to separate the trash from the coins better.

I know the Bullseye goes a bit deeper and does do a decent job on separating the coins from trash. But I need a bit more selective concentration to get the coins.

Does anyone have both the 4X6DD and the 5.3 Bullseye and compared them???

I have both the 5.3 and the 4x6, but with the ground frozen >:( , haven't been able to compare them yet.

the 4x6 is excellent in the trash as far as separation but expect 4.5 in. for depth on the 6.59 freq. machines. i understand its gets better depth on the eclipse coils

I just got the Blue Max 4X6 for my IDX, (same coils as the XLT) and will be comparing it to my 5.3 Bullseye next week.

I will post the results.

I got the Blue Max 4X6 coil for my IDX.

On a quicky test:

I took my IDX and went out to my yard with all the settings at preset, with the 4X6 shooter coil on, and went around the yard. Next to one of our trees I got a dime reading right next to a iron reading so I marked where it was, on the ground.
After putting the 5.3 coil on, I then tried the area again, with the same preset settings, and now only getting the iron reading and not the dime, I pinpoint the iron and dig. I get a nail at about 2 inches deep, and check the area again.
I now read the dime which is about 1 1/2 inches to the side, from the nail and at about 3 1/2 inches deep, and dig it also.
