So I have about 20 hours on this beast so far and still plenty to learn. I have been running with Andy's coin program from the bible and it seems to work pretty good. I'll probably go to a custom program with full tone sometime soon, but just want to get comfortable with his program first. I did a little digging and found a bicentennial road atlas of my area that was reprinted from the original in 1978. It has all roads, farm houses, schools, churches, etc starting in 1874. Found a house from 1880 that was eventually turned into a hotel in the 30's and 40's. Only had about 2 hours and the DEUS delivered. My best hunt to date. 3 silvers, an indian, and a few Wheaties.Man I love this hobby, that is slowly becoming an obsession.:laughing7:Thanks for looking.

Good job. It's been like never I have found a silver Washington quarter. Never. Go figure.

Nice finds. Haven't seen a Merc that worn before, thought it was a barber until I looked closer. One of the advantages of full tones is that you don't have to bother setting up the tone breaks like you have to do on a multitone program like Andy's coin program. Makes for some quick custom programming.

Great finds. I would suggest that you stick with what you decide after trying full tones. Say you like full tones, set every prograM FULL TONES, LEARN AND MASTER WHAT YOU DECIDE ON (oops caps lock)... No matter full or 3, 4, 5 tones.

Also Deus is a tone machine, Use them ears and not the VDI.
