Got to finally get a hunt in today. Had to run to Tulsa to get a door for a job I’m doing on the 4th, and got a hunt in on the way back. Found an older 2 story home built in the teens that the old guy said his Wife had already hunted it awhile ago, but she used a cheap detector.
He said they’d lived in for 30+ years and no one else had hunted it. He said go ahead and hunt it! Sweet, so off I went……
Only Copper Pennies, clad Nickels & Dimes, plus several Quarters. Got out to the curb strip and My second pass and bam!!! Popped a plug and a Standing Liberty Quarter fell beside it😁 The white coin stain is still on the plug just above the Quarter. One of My Favorite Coins and so Thankful it Came on 4th of July Weekend!!! Under a 10x loop You can just barely make out 1927! Silver#20fty!!
What better thought than
“ Stand Up America!!”
Wheats-1935D,1945,1- no date
Thanks for Looking &
Happy Hunting!!!!

Great post
You are doing very well this year.
I admire your dedication
Take care

My favorite coin and best designed of all, IMHO. Congrats for finding a beautiful SLQ!!

Nice post and coins, especially that SLQ; such a beautiful design. Congrats!

Such a good feeling seeing the shine of silver in a plug. Then even better when it's big or old. Nice hunting and grats on the standing liberty!
