Took today of work & went back to the site I was at on Sunday.

Crazy weather day as it began drizzly + scatted showers at about 40*, then wind really began to pick up and the temps dropped & a few wet snowflakes came thru, and I even saw the sun for a while..

I gridded the entire site over the entire day & pounded it pretty good. For my efforts I was rewarded with my 4th copper of the year 1803 + 3 more buttons as well as a very nice decorative piece as well as a what's it.

Looking forward to getting back here to see what I might have missed.

1803 was a large mintage year. Now you have to determine which 1803 it is. Large date, small date. Large fraction, small fraction. One type is worth quite a bit. Gary

Awesome old copper and cool relics! :occasion14:

That’s a really nice DB, details on both sides too. Congrats.

Nice relics and old coppers. LC looks to be in very good shape!

That is a fantastic coin. It cleaned up nice and looks so solid, if that makes any sense. Did you use the renaissance wax I hear about every so often? Any way, congrats on a truly great coin.

Thanks! I do use the Ren wax it's great stuff!
