Hunting just below the trenches again today. Found my 4th lead poker chip this afternoon. Its definitely my most detailed. One side has a eagle carved in it and the other has what looks to be a lady holding a flag. Even the edge of the poker chip has been etched in the style of a coin. Definitely happy with this one! The final picture is of all four lead poker chips that I have found over the last month. The bottom left-hand one looks to be made from a pulled bullet.

Wow. Just, wow! Amazing that you've found four. They are awesome. Congrats. -Lisa & John

That is an awesome find. The only lead coin I have ever found is a buffalo nickel. Yours is much older and more personal. Congrats. Unfortunately not many would know they are from the CW and could guess they would be made at anytime. You know better and have a keeper

Certain personal quality about those poker chip finds . Interesting , thanks for the thread !

That is a really nice find. So much history in a little lead disc. Very well done sir.

Congrats.

Never thought of them making poker chips out of lead. As a person that enjoys a good game of poker that's a GREAT find.
