Hello everyone just a quick 45 min hunt by the beach tonight. The at pro did me proud with 13 coins. 3 large pennys 1927x2 and 1930, a 1974 small half penny and the rest was just modern coins. Going back to the same spot tomorrow, that many coins so close together there has to be some silvers in there!

Recently moved back to england. This is a nice big stretch of land by a beach, oldest coin ive found in this area is 1845

Not long until you hit Roman:thumbsup:

Im hoping for roman so bad cru!! I just dont have any fields or farms. I live in furness so we have alot of stuff but owned by the national heritage so it sucks. They would rather leave stuff in the ground where no one can appriciate it. I work 46 hour weeks to which doesnt help. Im hoping to plan a trip to carlisle one weekend soon for a few nights and see i i can get permission some place.

In which case you might stand as much chance getting a Viking item or Saxon. Much better than Roman.

Keep at the permission & research google earth.
