43rd Silver coin of 2013 as well as silver coins so far for August:
Been working hard for these few pieces. Also shown a few wheats and a big East Africa 10 cent coin from 1945 that were found today with my friend Janis Berzins. He found a couple of really nice old enameled insurance badges. The digging conditions have caused me to nick a few of these: the ground is like concrete and/or the coins are mixed in with nails and other junk. It sure makes it hard to pinpoint well. When I can't locate the target well with the pinpointer I have started using my plastic "CIA letter opener" to feel around in the dirt (instead of my rounded steel probe) . The Lesche digger is indispensable but it is not in the least forgiving when it hits a coin.
