417 Relic Hunters and free Detecting 101 classe's begin in March through Oct.

To anyone who wants to learn more about detecting and our club you can check out the Missouri clubs section here on Tnet, the Yahoo site and our own 417 Relic Hunters Club forum Treasure Spot. For the latest posts on dug CW relics here in SW Mo. check the T-spot site. We are conducting free detecting classes starting in March at our upcoming meeting. These courses are for the beginner and a more advanced course will be held in Oct. The beginners class will run each month up until the Oct. meeting. Did I mention it was free? This is our deal, training and we are very serious about it. Our club is now 2 years old and we had 34 at our last meeting. The regular meetings will also be held in another room and nothing changes with that. If you are having any problems or want to learn a few detecting tricks and tips you will not want to miss any of this.

417 Relic Hunters, is offering a FREE class on Metal Detecting. It’s a six month course that will teach you the basics of metal detecting. Topics covered will be:

• Gaining Permission

Participants will get REAL hands on instruction from the area’s most experienced and successful Detectorist. At the end of the course, you will get to hunt side by side at an actual location with the more experienced detectorist showing you their individual tips.

Also upon graduation, participants will be invited to attend our Advanced Metal Detecting Class starting in the fall.
