40th Birthday Hunt

First find of the day was this bobblehead of my likeness that my wife got for me!



Then I headed out for a 4-hour hunt. Using Google maps, I found an open lot of grassy land behind a gas station in my town. It's on the oldest road in town, but that's all I really knew about it. I gained permission to hunt it... 3.5 hours in all I had was garbage and 4 clad quarters. Junkiest property I've been on to date! Desperate to find something good on my 40th bday, I went back my parent's house, a small property that has been good to me. I only had about 15 minutes to detect, and on my last target found a very nice 1907 IH penny. It's in great shape, and my favorite US coin. So... whew! I got something good!
