40% !!!

Went in one of the banks that I don't have an account on and asked for halves. The teller said she has some and asked how much I wanted. I said all of it if possible. Teller said she was hoping that someone would pick them up from her. She brings out loose halves in two regular sealed envelopes with the amount written on it. $95.50 all together. When she puts them on the counter, I can hear the familiar sound of silver clanking in both envelopes. She asked me if she wanted me to open the envelopes to count them and said no need to. I'm shaking the envelopes around walking to my car wondering what's inside. When I opened the envelopes, It contained 48 40% $24 face value. Awesome day! Keep searching everyone.

That was an awesome score! I got one 40% from $5 loose halves at two different banks today which was one of my better days this year with customer halves.

Just never know when and where the next great score might be. That's what keeps this hobby fun and interesting right?

CWR and loose halves has always been good to me. Thanks and congrats on the find also Silver. I was hoping there would be 90% in the bunch. Can't complain though. Better than the outcome of my boxes lately.
