Hey Guys,

Looking for info for these four pieces recently found:

1) 1863 Token? It's pretty beat. Obverse has what looks like a man's profile. It has a circle around the portrait, and there's a star visible at 3 o'clock. The reverse has what looks like, " A TOKEN OF" then I can't read the word after but it ends with an "R" Then the word at the bottom begins with "U". The 1863 date is visible. Slightly larger than a U.S. Quarter

2) Lock. Any idea of age? 1 1/2 inch tall and 1 inch wide

3) Ford Key - age? Car/tractor model? a little less than 2 inches long. one side reads "FORD Usa" other side has a capital "B" but its very small

4) Pewter spoon bowl. Age? about 2 1/4 inches long and 1 1/4 wide.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Those little locks have been called barrel/keg locks, and I have seen at least one on a Buckskin gold pouch/sock,they date to at least the 1860's(I can not find anything off hand to support my claims, but somewhere I have that info saved and will share when I re-find it).The Pewter spoon has the scallop like is often seen on the Parker Brand Pewter. Those utensils date to at least the 1840's

Thanks guys for your help! Was able to get an ID on the token by scraping off some of the crud. Here's a updated pic.

Beat me to it Nova.
Civil War store card token.
"During the Civil War (1861-65) the public hoarded all government issued coins for their melt value (even the lowly cents). Merchants had to make change with postage stamps, paper script, and private tokens like this one."
Dates to 1863.
