Got one last Hunt in while we're back. Glad I came out. And since it was a business day I went by an old stone house used for an Insurance Agency and got permission to hunt the yard. I've drooled over this place for a few years.
Didn't have much luck other than clad, and a couple Wheats until I got to the side yard that was next to the road. The first good signal was a wheat. A couple pieces of clad, then a Silver Rosie! Two wheats in between and 3 Mercs back to back!!! That's Cool!!! Made My Day!!!
Showed the owner of the building and he said that it use. To be a Dentists Office years ago. That'd explain the older coins by the entrance on the side.
I had also scored permission at the yard across the street while I was detecting. Ended up with 2 Wheats and that Boy Scout Token that I used to have. Well, have another now! Silver#55fty! Great Day!! Thanks for Looking and Happy Hunting!!!!! !!!
The 1916 Merc is an S mint mark. Maybe next time!
WHEATS-1938, 1944S, 1942D, 1936, 1930D, 1958D
ROSIE-1956D
MERCS-1943, 1916S, 1923

The Taft Hadley was a Governor advertising key Fob.

Flip the '16 Merc over! Hopefully, there's a "D" staring you in the face! :icon_thumleft:
