Went to a place that always gives me a couple finds..., however last 2 times I went to this place there was nothing to be found. !!!

Had found about 20-25 coins at this site ranging from 1860-1936. Mostly coppers with 4 silvers.

Decided today to go look again as the leaves are falling off the trees and undergrowth is laying down .....easy hunting !!!

Figured I get skunked but its only 1/2 mile from my house so said what the hell.

Check that nickel. I think it's a near 6 but it could be a far 6. They're worth some money. :)

ya.... for whatever reason they were all in good shape....must be the soil.... most of my coins from that spot are usually in good shape.



TY for looking guys....nothing exciting I know....but thought I,d share......

Had a couple hrs to get out after my 1st day of lobster season......couldn,t help myself .. had to go try even though I shoulda been in bed....fished all night.

Guess it is called ...ADDICTED !!!!!!!!!!!!

YA...Really weird it stayed in such great shape...I got 7 others and almost all are in crappy shape.
