Rice Lobed point...........Early Archaic
A construction site find..............the best point to come from that site!

In text book form.......................Rice Lobed are favorite of mine,and I dont find many.............
it is beveled.............but stays flat across the blade,<<<unlike Dalton being lance thick with bevel>>>......the flat blade form of resharpening beveling was used in Middle Archaic..........

A high grade Burlington chert that is not heat-treated no Rice Lobed are...........being Early Archaic,,
a very reflected Burlington Cobble....chert

real nice find,i am not real familiar with the types in your area ,but I am aware that a rice lobed point should atleast have a slightly bifurcated/indented base and lobed ears,your point appears to have a straight to slightly convex base??thx for sharing the nice pics
