4 Of a kind day

I went out to the local grammer school today and hunted for about 1 hr the sand play area and the wood chips and I had a 4 of a kind day 4 quaters 4 dimes 4penneys and 4 peices of junk and one hair pin.The wood chips allways have nails in them. I will just add the coins to my box of coins someday I will count them and see how much is in the treasure chest .

Yeah buddy, I'm putting all of mine in a box and I will count it mid point of the year. Woodchips and sand are great places to find goodies!

Diggit - good finds there. Lot of trash in wood chips that you can't see until you run a detector over it.

Every time I hunt in the wood chips I always find lots of nails and sharp things and im not shure the school knows that these things are in the wood chips if they did im shure that they would use a different material . I might just call the local school district and let them know whats in the chips and create a local interest story in the local news paper . maybe they will go back to sand or pea gravel its eaiser to dig in lol.
