Re: "4" Missing from steel penny

Geez, sixteen views and not a whisper of what it might be worth?

I thought this was a place for exchange of comments and ideas.

All the money that's passed through my fingers, this is the first time I've seen a missing number.
Gotta be worth something.

comment-
geeze ya waited a whole 2 hours then complain the forum can't answer your questions fast enough.

idea-
why don't you post it in the 'what's it worth' section.

btw- welcome to the board. :icon_sunny:

Re: "4" Missing from steel penny

Sometimes on posts... they can have 40+ views and no answer... Just means they don't know... Give it a little time...

Looks to me like the coin took a hit there... nothing special... IMHO...

Re: "4" Missing from steel penny

Looks like a hit to me also.

Re: "4" Missing from steel penny

$1,000,000 penny. JK. don't know what it is worth, most likely a common steelie worth 0.15 ($7.50/roll)

Re: "4" Missing from steel penny

No need for a jerky post OP.Most of us on here have a job/go to school/etc..(give us some time) jeez. I am gonna agree with everyone else on here and say it took a hit. I still love steelies though. Welcome to the forum!

Re: "4" Missing from steel penny

its a common error. I have several of those. Sorry worth about 8-10 dollars

Re: "4" Missing from steel penny

Sold it for $15 last night.
And here I thought I'd hit el Jackpot, but NOOOOOOO.

Seeing as how my knowledge of all things coin is 0 point two decimal places then some number, I figured anybody reading my original post would be able to tell me something.

Two hours may not seem long to you aficionados of the precious or old metals, but to me it was nail-biting time.
Kinda like clinging to an old log in the cold sea.

I'm just sayin'.
