Okay, the first one is for the Brits. It isn't every day one finds something made somewhere besides China, however, it is even more odd to find something made in England!!:

Any idea what this could be??

I haven't a clue on this one.....I know it is very rusted and, as the picture sits, it is 1 3/4" tall by 2 1/8" wide:

This is just a pretty little cog, threaded on the inside....maybe part of an R/C car or ???:

And, lastly, this big honker. It showed as a quarter and I first touched it at 10" deep. Maybe part of a small engine, or ???:

Last pictures are a carb for a riding or push mower.

No 2 is the cage from a roller bearing. No 3 looks a small lock nut? No 4 is a carbuerator from a Briggs & Stratton 3 1/2 hp engine. Tony

#1 I'm pretty sure came off an older model English racer bicycle, lower part of clamp to hold brake lever onto handlebar.

#2 looks like a needle bearing holder

#3 similar to a conduit lock nut. But yours does appear to have cogs. :icon_scratch:

#4 lawnmower carb

You folks are great and have really sharp eyes. I believe the first one could be the lower half of a handlebar clamp, good eye.
The second is, no doubt, the cage from a tapered roller bearing.....like older wheel bearings.
The third is not just a lock nut, it is more like a sprocket for driving (or being driven by) a chain......that's why I was thinking R/C car.
And the fourth, yep, intake manifold and what is left of the carb system of a small engine.....I'll have to look at the Briggs engine mentioned, thanks for the tip.

A hearty 'thanks' to all who contributed, sure doesn't take long to solve a mystery on this forum!!! I'm calling the whole list as 'solved!'
