16" on the ground and counting. Gotta love that lake effect $hit.
I desperatlely need a couple of warm days or some massive wind to blow that snow around or I'll be
ofer 2 this year hunting the ghost town.
9.5" coil - 16" = a very cold and miserable time. Worst case scenario is I could hit the garbage dumps of some of the old homesteads and gets some bottles.

Anyone have a chance to read or get a copy of the book from Bomber yet?

16" of Lake Effect Snow ? That has to make atleast A Few Lake Effect BABYS .. L.O.L.

That's an awful lot of snow Todd, so you better bring a 12 - 16" coil ;D
The odds of detecting are not in your favor.

Too bad the nicer weather didn't hang around for a few more weeks. You'll probably have the same luck as me when it comes to going up North. I went to Grand Marais in October 2 years ago and the weather was just beautiful for late October.

Early Thursday evening before we left Chicago, the weather up there was 56 and sunny. The front moved while we were on the road. By the time we got there, the temps were in the 20's. The next few days were in the teens or low 20's with a 25 mile wind that gusted to 50 miles an hour the whole time we were hanging some stainless steel doors on a friends diner.

The day we headed back was beautiful (of course), and by noon we were in sweatshirts or sweaters. Never fails!

Bomber and I are gonna get together and either have a few beers, do a little hunting, both, or both at the same time

Have a safe trip and a Happy Thanksgiving.
Mike

PS. Global warming my a$$

Man I wish you all the luck in the world!!! :icon_pirat:

There's still some shallow moving water up there, perhaps?
