So doing some digging in Summerville, SC and found this really nice 4" Angustidens shark tooth.
What makes this one nice is it is hard to find them over 4". Enjoy!

Sweet !! Shes a beaut. Nice work !!

Imagine that thing being sunk into ya!! Woowza and oooowza!!!!! Really nice find

Mike this is great! We used to find stuff this big at Calvert Cliffs, Md but they closed it to hunting because the cliffs were destabilizing. My imagination of what it would be like to be confronted by one of these is the way I've see large trout feed on mayflies. The gill covers lift, a little whirlpool appears and no more mayfly.

I have several 4"+ Angustidens teeth and one whopper of a 4" Ariculitus tooth (the grand daddy to the megalodon)

That's a huge Angy-congrats! Did you find the big ric at the Giant Cement pits back when they used to let people hunt fossils there?

Beautiful specimen, congratulations! :notworthy:

Never was able to get into Giant Cement. I was able to get into Lafarge Quarry back when they allowed it one day per quarter year. You would meet at the office and sign a waiver and then go to the piles. The ric was actually sitting in the tire tracks next to the piles. I miss hunting there for the realy nice fossils.
