I got out for 3.5 hours today, best find was a very old brass gilt button. it looks like it has a small anchor on it. 1 old folding knife,a stainless steel filet/scaling blade,1lb of sinkers, another piece of the brass trim,1 fishing lure, and a stainless screw. lots of trash and barbed wire. I also found a long piece of old iron pipe with a "T" in it but left it and a few other large trash pieces. what a beautifull day 75 degrees and sunny, and the water is warming up.

The button sounds exciting! Got a close up of it? And the pocket knives.....they must be hard to keep up with. There are so many of them found.

Congrats on those finds~ Nana :)

my camera does not do closeups real well, the more I think about it, it is probably a cufflink. the button/cufflink is only about 1/2" diameter and the anchor is only 1/4-1/5 of the diameter on the outer edge. I must dig 20-30 knives every year, so yeah I got a pile of them. no donuts/margaritas/or shish-kabob though. thanks for asking.

ok nana, this is the best my camera will do on closeups. just left of the top center of the button/cufflink is the small anchor. you might be able to see a small groove it is touching that groove on the left,. like I said my camera is not great on macro work.
