3rd trip to the hill...includes a half dollar!

This was my third trip to the hill, I have named it "Nickel Hill". I have recovered 34 nickels in 3 trips alone. Today finished first half of the hill completely. Got a 74 Kennedy half, 41 wheatie, bicentennial quarter, a casino token and 73 more coins. Today I gridded 10 x 10 areas using small utility flags and worked very slowly... The half was 5.0 down, the wheatie 6.0 Hopefully the other side is as good! I have included a picture of "Nickel Hill".

I have only finished half of it in 3 trips...close to 300 coins just from one side.

I have shortened my hunts quite a bit...as you can see not as many 100 coin days.... not sure I want to dig 276 coins in one day...my best this year was 225. Takes to long! I could do it....They are there...but easier to break it up!

Coppas would be nice! But where I hunt....I will be lucky if I can break the 19th century...my oldest coin this year is up to now a 1903 barber dime...

I use those little utility flags they use with the metal stick on them...I use a black marker to go over any name. The ones I have are orange...a guy off a utility truck gave them to me as long as I markered out the info... Also small cones work well. But with this being a windy hill I wanted to use something that sticks in the ground and would not be blown away.
