As Jeff of Pa posted earlier, we hit 3 spots in 3 hours today. The first spot produced 2 wheats at just 8ft from the truck, both in the same hole. They are in the soak, hoping to get dates off them later. Next hole dug produced the ring shown, thought gold right away as it shined and was real heavy, but appears to be fake and very very ugly, LOL! Nothing else real exciting, a buckle, a "golden rule" charm, 100 spongebob bucks ;D $1.84 in clad. Good morning out!

I Like that Ugly Ring ! ;D

& the SpungeBob Hundred :D

4 of my Wheats come out of one hole
not sure which four.

We should get silver tomorrow :coffee2:

tex, I can tell you that when i saw it all dusty under a leaf and just saw the "100" from a distance, my heart skipped a beat :D

4H, you got that right. It seems that when I was younger, Jeff was always taking me somewhere cool to explore but in the past 10yrs I've been too busy to do anything. This has given me something that him and I can do together and it's good spending time with him again! BTW 4-H, I can't say enough good things about the probe, I don't know how I detected without it, thanks again :icon_thumleft:

Get hunt, and some keeper too. Wow that is a ugly ring!
Getting hard to find places the put on nowadays. Keep@it.
