I have been following up on the Td shortage from December 12 th. I have spoken to head teller and manager. The money never showed up. This week they are calling Guarda, but I think its going to be a waste of time. I have been shorted about 5 times , this is the first time it was not found. I guess its the bad part of the hobby. The only thing that makes it less painful is , this branch is were I found the 42 over 41 Merc in the reject bin. I figure I have my health , and if I was really sick I would not care about the $375. On a positive note I did 2 / boxes today for 6 / 40s. HH

I hate TD bank with a passion! They don't order boxes of halves and their coin counters appear from this forum not to be maintained correctly. They are open 7 days a week but they are always rude in my hood.

Sorry to hear about that - that is a big loss.

Seems like TD bank should be focusing on how to try and prevent repeated problems like this.

I had a Toronto Dominion account during my time in Vancouver, BC. I was never happy with them. Do yourself a favor and get a new bank.

I was shorted $50 at TD last week, "the batch was shorted over $20.77 after we sent them in to count."

I am SOL. O well. :tard: :tard: :tard: :tard:

That is a big hit. How much were you dumping at the time and which denominations? I have been shorted by TD many times, but lesser amounts.

As far as my experience with Canadian banks goes TD(my bank) is far more superior than RBC, Scotia Bank, some local credit unions and CIBC. But I am one to know that customer service varies from branch to branch even within the same bank chain.

It is true, Canadian Guy. I preferably choose CIBC, because most of their branches carry a good customer service. TD is good, but everything depends on the branch and even more on tellers. Branches of the same bank can differ in level of loyalty to CRH. Some are willing to help and cooperate, some might not care at all, but some are a little rude and trying to discourage the CRH practices.
Keep on rolling!
PS: getting short rolls is frustrating, but keep in mind everything has its price and level of risk.

What state was it happen?
I am working now with customer protection board about TD penny arcades

Another reason to reroll. I know, I know, it takes too much time. I guess I CRH more for the fun of it than the profit potential. I'm happy searching a few boxes of this and that each week. I think all those who search through thousands each week are just plain greedy. Obviously those who do, don't need the money or they wouldn't be able to afford to search so much (dollar wise) each week. Sorry to hear of your loss.
