35mm to digi drop in kits

I remember back in the mid to late 90's someone tried to do it. I don't believe they ever got past the prototype stage.

As a person who has worked with cameras for a bit (age 16 to 69) my thoughts are that there are two many camera rigs that are manufactured that don't inter change with any thing else. I have 3 35's one with original pentax screw mounts and 2 that are k type and they don't fit any digital .. so now I am useing an olympus E-10 and E-20 digital fixed lens but super cameras. Don't use film much any more but I think there will always be 35mm film for a while yet.
