$350 in Dimes & $500 in Quarters
So today I dumped about $1,100 of my dimes for this Saturdays search, and picked up some new boxes. I grabbed a box of dimes, and my first box of quarters from one bank, and managed to convince another bank to sell me $100 in dimes. Well i'm sure glad I asked for that $100, because the box of quarters was a skunk (although it was an old box, with all dirty old rims, but no silver). The dimes box was solid brand new almost uncirculated 2011 P's. When I saw that they were all new edges, I crossed my fingers for a solid box of 2009's, but no such luck.
Fortunately, my $100 in dimes from the last bank yielded one Canadian 1952 Silver dime with king george on it. I'm roughly 3/4 on the canadian dimes i've found this month. The 4th one was a 1968, but it was the nickel variety, not the 50% silver.
HH all, going to try to dump/pick up more dimes tomorrow.
