Hidy to all . This is my first post on this forum . I dont thank I could put every thing I found in 2009 on here so if its OK I will put one of my best finds I made on 4/20/09 . I was hunting Civil War stuff at an old ball park , the towns around here have a lot of it in the ground . I got a good hit , dug down about 7 or 8" and pulled out a silver dime . It was muddy and cold . I run over the hole agin . Put my hand down in the mud agin . To make it short , I done this in the same hole so much my hands were muddy ,and cold so beleave or not I got tired of pulling silver dimes out of that hole . Findly I stoped at 34 silver dimes and the 1909 quarter was about 3" to the side of the hole . About 85% of them were 1964 The others were 50s and 40s . After looking at some of the other post on here mine dont look to good , but maybe yall will get a big kick out of it for me puting it on here anyway . Sorry but thats about it for 2009 on the silver .

Wish I could find a target like that! My best is just small pocket spills.

Civil, what you found is a dream find for most of us. I am hoping you have had better both before and after that so that it pales in significance.

Wow.

It's kind of hard to believe that I've never found a silver spill! Hopefully soon!
