Bench mounted tin shears . They range from 14 to 48 inches in length . This pic is from a Tool Collector book by Ronald S Barlow , 1985 . Back then they were worth about $1.00 per inch . Very handy item !

Thanks Mojjax! That there is the animal! Any idea on when these were made?-----I am going to clean it up and hang it on the wall in my "trophy den" (which my wife says is my JUNK room)!!!!!!lol and Capt. I will try not to smash my fingers with it but I can`t say I won`t chop one off! Thanks ;D

I think they are probably from 1890-1910 give or take a few years .

Nice ID work mojjax. Angelo's idea to purchase the catalog is a good one. Makes a so much better collection when some of the support info is with the item. Nice find!!! Love those farm tools.
