Aluminum Blower Boat for sale.
This boat was built by Paasch Marine Services in Erie PA in 1977. The vessel is 32' long with a beam of 9'. It drafts 3' or 4'6" with the blowers in the down position. The vessel is powered by two Detroit 8.2 turbo four-strokes. The gears are Twin-disc MG504's. The engines were completely rebuilt in March of 2016 and then used for the 2016, and 2017 seasons. There is approx. 2000 hours on the engines. Fuel is stored in two 80 gallon steel tanks mounted behind the engines.
The complete steering system was upgraded to a hydraulic Seastar system in 2017.
This is a great and reliable treasure hunting vessel and has served our company well, we had the 20' aluminum outriggers built and installed which are used to pull 2 magnetometers spaced 50' apart. Each outrigger has an independent GPS puck at the end. The aluminum blowers are 24" wide and are raised and lowered via a small electric winch on the stern. A small crane was also added to the port side with a 3500 pound winch. We have used the winch to haul a variety of objects aboard the boat such as outboard engines etc.
We took El Salvador to the Dominican Republic in 2012 and returned it in 2013. It has been used and stored at Port Canaveral since then.
The boat has been fantastic, but it is a work boat and some general maintenance is required. The boat is ready to work, it comes with everything needed to dig up treasure including Hummingbird GPS, VHF radio, 3 heavy-duty anchors with 600' of rope on each one, outriggers, dive ladder etc.
We used this boat to two two SeaSpy magnetometers simultaneously; these mags are also being sold at this time and we would make someone an excellent deal on the boat and two mags, just ask!
Call Bill or Ron if you have any questions, this is a great deal and we have several interested party's so don't wait!
