For the first time I can remember, I have found something of interest in the area of paper money.
I recently withdrew $300 from a local ATM and stuck it in my wallet without ever looking at the notes. This afternoon, I took them out of my wallet, and was shocked to discover that I had been given 15 brand new $20 bills, each ending with a star, and consecutively numbered. They are all series 2004A, signed by Cabral and Snow. Other than a gradual bend from being in my wallet for 2 days, they are brand spanking new. In addition to all being star notes, a few of the notes also have distinctive patterns, such as 05735734, 05735735 and 05735736.
The serial numbers are:
GB 05735728 *, GB 05735729 *, GB 05735730 *, GB 05735731 *, GB 05735732 *, GB 05735733 *,
GB 05735734 *, GB 05735735 *, GB 05735736 *, GB 05735737 *, GB 05735738 *, GB 05735739 *,
GB 05735740 *, GB 05735741 *, and GB 05735742 *.
Does anyone have any ideas as to collectible value?
