Long post,no pics. Nebraska 3 day garage sale. Fri. Sat. Sun. went on the Bargain Byway sale. Actually drove 360 mi. Lots of fun and a few finds. 64.5 grams sterling $1.00, 2 ster. rings $2.00, Blk. Hills gold pendant $7, cow skulls 5 for $1 ea., Fire King cups & saucers 48 pcs. for $10, beer schooners (Bud, Hamms, Falstaff, etc.) 9 for $13 total. Several more tools, collectables. Interesting overnight at a historic lodge where I last stayed in 1955, damn, that was a long time ago. A similar Nebraska Junk Jaunt is coming up in the fall, hope to make that one also. HH all..

sounds like alot of fun im going to do that someday

We recently had "Flea Across Florida". I will have to actually check it out one year.

Wow 1955. I thought I was old. :laughing7:

Nice! I did the 127 corridor sale maybe 10 years ago. It was a lot of fun but many things were overpriced. http://http://www.127sale.com/

I went to the 127 sale too, maybe 13 years ago. You are right, the prices were INSANE.

Low end Lionel trains from the early 80's were priced so high that I actually laughed out loud. A piece of Blenko, maybe worth $30 at the time was marked $175, a blacksmith blower selling on ebay for $85 was priced at $200. Junk Craftsman wrenches were priced at $5 each, when they were only $4 in the store. The whole day of shopping was just insane.

I was only selling a little bit on the side, and bought nothing all day long.

"You laughed out loud!" I have done this also, one time the prices were so I laughed out loud and pointed at the guy,he kinda got mad but who cares.

Mt. Joe, after that trip I felt old!! In 1955 I was a college kid trying to make a living driving a truck on weekends. The roads in the sandhills of Nebraska weren't very good in those days, but good memories.
