3 Thimbles today, Some Norwegian Sterling, and some buttons & stuff from past hunts

I am still hunting the site that I was having a lot of good luck at, but the finds have slowed WAY down.
I haven't been going everyday like I was, but I haven't given up on it just yet.
Havent had anything worthy of a post lately, so I thought I would include a few past finds from this site that I didn't bother posting.
The site has been slow, but I some days I get a button, some brass square nails, melted lead, and the occasional round ball.
Today I ended up with 3 thimbles, and last hunt I got a thimble. I didn't bother picturing the modern aluminum one.
Todays Finds.

The hallmark. TH Marthinsen Sterling Norway Gold washed & enameled. I doubt its very old, but still a neat find.

Several buttons from previous hunts at this site. A very tiny flat button marked Superfin Paris. An unmarked Silver bell/button, "Any ideas about the age of this one". And a large pre 1730 French colonial marines button with bent shank.

This piece of brass might be a bayonet scabbard throat. The 1909 wheatie is for scale, and yes it did come from this site.

Next time I go back I'm going to have to try probing or sifting.

love the thimbles, heck I like it all

Still giving up the great finds!

Some history:
Thorvald Marthinsen Solvvarefabrikk was founded in 1883 in Tonsberg, Norway.
The Marthinsen silver goods factory has long been known for tradition and quality merchandise.
Production extended at least into the 1940s.
Don.......

Hello, I missed this post of yours back in August, but from the looks of your finds there it would seem to be an area worth further investigation. I especially like the Norge silver spoon.

NICE DANG FINDS....
