Big congrats! I love digging LCโ€™s, but the silvers just look so nice after decades or centuries in the dirt. Nice work!

Always love finding large cents!

Cool to find Large Cents in a field! Wonder what went on there years ago? Love the Silver too!

Great hunts, nice LCs & silvers & Buff, the ox knob looks perfect & nice buttons too, congratulations on all the saves & HH

Awesome!!! Congrats!!!

Looks like you had some very productive hunts Basssmann. I never get tired of finding silvers or large cents. Great finds.

I would trade 5 silver Washington quarters all day long to dig one Large Cent, NO make it 10. In my neck of the woods they are pretty much unheard of. I have dug a couple seated silvers here, but a Large Cent would totally make my day. Congrats on the finds, even though I'm really jealous!

Great job Basssmann! Large cents are hard to come by here in Michigan. 8-) Three in one hunt? Spectacular!! Congrats!! :occasion14:

Awesome finds! A three large cent day is an excellent day in my book! Nice silvers too. The washingtons are not super interesting to me but I love it when I find them!

Very nice hunts Basss. I'd take those 3 Large Cents any day. I love digging those things.

SD51, Any old field may contain coins.... they were cleared of trees, cleared of rocks, and plowed with ox for days and days... then the fields were worked for crops for years... people stop to smoke a pipe or grab something out of their pocket.... coin spill.... any work on the wagon, plow or any equiptment, was done in the field, while lying on the ground... there was always a house somewhere nearby too.... I find a lot of my large silver in fields....where no one else looks.. Basssmann
