Hello all!
I hit a couple spots today between the rain and came up empty at the first two locations so i decided to hit the park where i had a 5 silver day (including my first SLQ) a couple weeks ago. It started off slow again and i almost left when i got a beautiful 12-45 on my etrac, popped my plug and saw this...
Sweet, it was a 1951 Rosie! I figured id stay awhile longer and kept detecting and got a super iffy jumpy signal that had a brief high tone and occasionally landed on a decent TID and dug, well chiseled out this...
..a 1952 Rosie, awesome! I say chiseled because it was in some super dense clay about 7" down. It must of been on edge, or maybe it was the dense clay but I've dug up 10"dimes that were allot less iffy...it rained today and yesterday too not that it penetrated that clay more then 1"...thank god its only one small section that's like that, the rest of the park is easy digging.
Just a couple minutes later and just a few feet over i got another jumpy signal that landed on 45 conductivity enough for me to dig and pulled out this...
..my third Rosie of the day, a 1946. I'll take'm! Those were silvers 71, 72, and 73 for me this year and 26 in the last 17 days!..i can't believe it..
I'll say this..allot of people on this forum have posted that tone is more important then TID and that has recently clicked in place with me and my etrac lately. I've had better results since I've been listening more then looking..
Hope you all had great days. Happy hunting.
