Hunted a medium strip in Golden Gate Park in S.F. today. It was about 15 feet wide and 200 feet long. Right off the bat I dug a mercury dime (1943-S). Also got a silver quarter (1942-P) and 3 wheat pennies. Total clad out of the strip was $3.24. Spent about 3 hours there and pretty much cleaned it out. Drove about 3 miles to another park in the sunset district and pulled out a silver rosie and 3 wheat pennies. It was unusually hot in S.F today, about 90 degrees. I was done after 5 hours worth of hunting, so I headed home. 3 silvers made it a great day!
