Looks like solid gold to me. You sure it’s not 18k. If that’s how it came out of salt water, good chance it’s the real deal.

Nice hunting!!:occasion14::hello2:

I ran it through my tumbler, it didn’t look quite as shiny but it had no corrosion either. I really thought it was real till I did the acid test. A friend owns a pawn shop I might take it over there and let him test it.

Did it turn green when you did an acid test? All imitation gold contains copper and will turn green with an acid test.

No I didn’t turn green. It just melted away on the stone. I didn’t put any acid directly on the ring though

I’m betting it’s real 18k. From the pics it doesn’t look like imitation. Another good indicator is the weight and it looks right. Try the magnet test too.

I will I’m at the coast till Wednesday afternoon. We have a really good negative tide this week. I also found another 925 ring today in the same area where I found the others yesterday. I’ll post a report with pics when I get back

Three ring day is always a good day! Look forward to seeing the rest of the finds

Wow,,A three ring day does not occur to often,,try to also get out and buy three lottery tickets,,,
