Yeah that one is cool. The rind is still on it and shows no use marks at all. Looks like it was sitting on the top soil exposed to the weather for many hundreds of yrs. But still a nice rock

Yep or Cortex is another use term for the outer skin layer. Ancient man usually removed this to use them as tools. And if it had been used for a tool it would show. The arrowhead in my avatar is a good example. The actual cortex for it isnt black it is brown.

Ahh ok! I found these black-ish rocks and could see pink stones inside, like where it was chipped. So much to learn!
