Found the war medal pin first, seemed a good find. I really had no idea that something else would top it just a bit later on. The eagle pin was the next find of the day for me, at first it seemed to be a lump of metal, then some of the mud fell off and the eagles outline showed up. What a rush! A bit further on the diamond shaped piece showed up, figure this is a watch fob?
Have all three items soaking in some olive oil now, will try to gently clean them later on and post more pictures. Hope that some details will show on the medal type pin ! At any rate this was a great day for relic finds!

Re: 3 nice relics today !

I see a bulldozer in the triangle pin maybe?

Wow those are cool. I hope the metal has some detail for you.

Re: 3 nice relics today !

The eagle is a ww2 era great seal hat device! I have dug a few here in yards

Re: 3 nice relics today !

The Eagle pin is an Army officers hat device from 1902 to present. The diamond shaped pin with tracks looks like it has a French FT-17 light tank from WW1. Can't see the last one well enough to tell.

Nice digs,

Great digs, real nice tractor fob, but now you need to track down the recipient of that medal.
Your job is never done when you are a detectorist!
