Right after Thanksgiving, temps were hovering around the 40-degree mark so I spent 3-hours at two sites that had been on my hunt list.
The first site (a permission home built in the late 1930’s) produced a nice Walker, 2 war nickels and a silver Rosie plus, a 1936 Buff and a few wheats. The second site (about 20-acres of public open space) produced 16 wheats, a silver Rosie and 2 Indians. It was a real treat not to dig any zincolns LOL. I was planning to come back to this site the next day but Mother Nature dumped 10-inches of snow. Right now it’s raining and the snow is disappearing so I’m hopeful to get in another hunt or two at this last site before the end of the year.
I Hope the weather’s nicer where you live. . . thanks for looking!
