Right after Thanksgiving, temps were hovering around the 40-degree mark so I spent 3-hours at two sites that had been on my hunt list.

The first site (a permission home built in the late 1930’s) produced a nice Walker, 2 war nickels and a silver Rosie plus, a 1936 Buff and a few wheats. The second site (about 20-acres of public open space) produced 16 wheats, a silver Rosie and 2 Indians. It was a real treat not to dig any zincolns LOL. I was planning to come back to this site the next day but Mother Nature dumped 10-inches of snow. Right now it’s raining and the snow is disappearing so I’m hopeful to get in another hunt or two at this last site before the end of the year.

I Hope the weather’s nicer where you live. . . thanks for looking!

Nice walker and Indians. It is raining all day with thunder and lightening. Expect rain over night into tomorrow. Then back to the freezer.

Nice finds! Congrats. Liberty Walking half was always a favorite of mine.

"Here she comes just a Walkin down the street", You probably know the rest. Salutations and commendations my friend!

Swing on in good health!

Nice finds! I see your ground is kind to the Indians and the Buffalo!:headbang:

Holy hell, you’ve sure done well for yourself. Nicely done on getting out before the snow!

Nope...about 1.5 hrs west of you...and it's turning into sleet and the fog is rolling in. 😞 Great work on those finds!!! Definitely a productive 3 hrs! 🙌

Amazing finds I would be very happy with that hunt.. Well done

Great selection Mark! Please keep the frozen white stuff at your house. Already melted it twice, do not need any more. The mud won’t dry until July as it is! Hi Bob!

Love that Walker ! Only in Illinois can we have such an array of weather. Snow on the North end, Tornado's on the South end, and Rain/Snow mix where I'm at !

Hi, nice finds Congrats:icon_thumleft:
