3 hours out...

After all the rain and mud in the fields, ground is frozen now. I got from work early today and the sun was thawing the ground so i went for a short hunt on a field i recently got permission to. This field has a roman settlement, but not much left to detect. There are lots of shards but it was hit hard by nighthawks... Managed only two scrappies, a musket ball, some lead, a flint and a religious pendant. The dogs had fun too...

Don't know exactly, it's the Neck of a jug. But unsure about the age. Could be roman to medieval. I'm not an expert for pottery.

I try everytime i'm out, didn't work.... Will be easier to train silver running crisscross over the field and let the dog race....

You need good eyes to regain Your digger after he looks as muddy as the field!
