Got an early start this morning and was on the beach at dawn, dead low tide, sea was reasonable rough...lol (it's always like that here). Said hello to older guy md'ing the dry sand with his wife and he'd only found ten cents, wished them good luck and headed down to the water.
We had a series of king tides and I wasn't sure whether it would benefit me or not but it turns out the surf gods were smiling. Bobby pins everywhere, bottle tops, fish hooks, some cash and then finally some rings, I nearly lost the first as just as I retrieved it a wave came and blew it out of my scoop, I frantically searched again and luckily for me it had not travelled too far.
Today was my last day of holidays, what a way to finish!
