Hello everyone, I got some serious hunting today. I went to one of my favorite spots today, its my favorite because it was a church that was torn down in 1957 and is now field, no new coins. I made sure with the owner it was still ok, and mentioned some other houses in other fields (something to look forward to). It started off painstakingly slow, bits of foil, nails, bullet cases, lead, but I knew there was more stuff out there. I had found a wheat, 2 mercs, and an indian last year, and now all the chaff was plowed under. Then out of the blue, my MD screams quarter! I got the camera ready and

Woohoo! my first standing liberty quarter! And I think I see a date..

Then, I got two more pennies

Well, time to get everything cleaned up...lets see what we got:

1917 Standing Liberty Quarter, a nice early one, too bad it got some plow dings
1901 Indian
1907 Indian, lightly toasted
