My dad and I decided to take another look at an old site we had "cleared" with our starter detectors. I think the AT pros brought it back to life. Fun afternoon!

We got a good assortment of bullets

That is a leather rivet of some king. Anyway, you have a nice array of different bullets.

As said a nice assortment of bullets you got 'love the Tear drop types'.
Imo you have a large brass Rivet that IMO was used mostly on Horse Gear, I have found a few of that size in a U.S. Calvary Camp. I love digging those big Rivets ,as brass CW stuff is hard to come by here in N.GA .
Def looks like a Carved Comb...Very Cool Piece.
Davers

It is a brass curry comb (not the type like a fat lady) they are considered period by some and late by others. I vote late 1800's due to the only ones I have dug were recovered at late 1800's house sites and i've dug my fair share of CW cav camps where the typical flat ones are recovered.

Very nice assortment of three ringers and more... Congratulations!

Very nice Finds!! Quite a few bullets...nice diggs
