I hit a couple of spots this past weekend and came up on 3 gold items, one 14k ID bracelet, one 14k neck chain, and a 10k initial ring. The crucifix is only gold plated, but I like it.

I also found a silver ring with what looks to be a turquoise stone setting. The stone has some type of other mineral shot into it. Like iron, and or some type of naturally alloyed metal (I wish it was gold ore, it might be). I also found what might be a vintage Kissproof lipstick compact.

Super finds, and congrats on all that gold!! Very nice!

Hey, thanks everybody. Last night I spent about 10 minutes hand buffing the stone in the silver ring and I think the buffing brought out a little more blue, here’s couple more photo:

Wow, that's a lot of gold in one hunt!
That chian and bracelet are jewels.
Congrats!

By chance, were you using a smaller coil on your SE?

Thanks.
I’m still using the stock slim-line coil.

Anthony,

That's one interesting torquoise/silver ring you have found. One of a Kind!!

You're doing great with your new machine! And I see the gold is still flowing.

Stellar finds!

Congrats! The finds are great!

As per the unique ring: "yes, could be a turquoise stone", though it looks a little more like agate. I see that around the outside it is: Lapis & Jade, indeed that is home made, as I have never seen an American Indian ring with that combination (I could be wrong - so research it - maybe/hopefully it is and a one of a kind - $$$ !!!).

What a great haul, Ant! You are the GOLDman. You didn't find that here in my town, now did ya? Huh bub?? ;D

BTW, when did you get an SE?

Ray

Ant,

Thanks Capitan SE.
This past weekend I switch to all metal mode, in fully opened metal mask with ferrous tones, crank down the gains to 6, and my threshold barely auditable, and use normal, fast or deep when suitable, deep preferably. I studied up on the dark side techniques and I going for the deepies this weekend. Using air test I think I’m getting the iron tone with a little taste of the money tone down. I here it, but I have to find it in the ground to know for sure, you know what I mean. I hope the stock coil will do.

Thanks again.

Hey thanks Ray. Naw, I found the ring in my Brothers front lawn, he lives down in SD. The gold came from the same area. But I did spend about 20 minute or so at a park in your neck of the woods, with no luck.

I got the ML SE back in April. But I wasn’t able to spend the time learning it until I finished up on an extended overtime schedule that I was on. That was three weeks ago. This is my 3rd weekend using it, and I have found silver with it every weekend. One day when we get together again I’ll let you swing it a couple of hours.
