I have had this for years and just started to research it a little. It's a 3 gallon jug for whiskey, coal oil, etc, I havent got a clue. I did find where and when it was made. Early 1900's due to the stamp on it and in Benton,Arkansas. What I did find is that the black ink stamp is "ultra rare". My questions are these: Are 3 gallon jugs very common and does anyone have any idea the value of this jug and is there a collectors site one could get information from? I not real intersted in selling just want some info being as it was made not far from where I live. Inside the stamp is "The Eagle Pottery" and under the Eagle is Benton Arkansas. Thanks...d2
