Hi, I found 3 CW items that I'm not really sure about. The first appears to be a lead mini flattened into a quarter sized coin shape. Would there be a reason they would want to do this? Second is a clip. It is brass or copper turned green and has cloth or wick still attached on the center. Last of all is a broken cylinder. Looks like a end of a barrel from a gun?? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Roy

hi, I quite found objects like your first one that are musket balls that have hit something solid, I've often mistaken them for coins at first.

Yep. Troops used miniballs flattened out for checkers and homemade buttons. It would take way too many to make poker chips. That suspenders clip is a good find, too. Back then, suspenders were also called galoshes. ( I KNOW I misspelled that word ) ;D
I did the "spell check" thing and used one of the words it listed.
