Got this coin with a lot coins that I recently purchased.
I am thinking that this was a button at one time. I would like to hear what you all think about it.

I would say that that would be a pretty good guess.It looks like it was heated a bit by the little bubbles on the back.
But since the back is in a lot better shape than the front a button would be my guess also.
Nice collectable.

The corrosion makes me think dissimilar metals were welded together or maybe from the flux and a bad weld.
