Hi guys

My friend recently dug this button up out of his allotment and I'm finding it hard to research. It 'could' be a Canadian Artillery insignia or British Artillery. However, we'd like to know a bit more. Like which nation it is, and the time period it would be from.

Any help gratefully received and appreciated.

Thanks 13599960_10154339960732244_3313346242881562191_n.jpg

a 3 feathers type of design is british wales royal design -- a flur de lis type of design can be either French or Spanish depending upon the time frame ...its was the house of bourbon's royal mark

Seeing the back may help, both in how it's constructed and if there are any marks.

I've got some more photos of it from my friend. There was a small loop on the back for attaching by thread but this fell off as it is perished. most definitely not a fleur now it's closer up.

The Cannons themselves remind me of ones I have seen on War of 1812 era buttons
