Hi everyone this is my first post! 
So this morning I was going to my usual spot when I noticed someone carrying a bike out of the bushes....huh, I though to myself that's weird and then I noticed him get a second bike....by now I'm like okay....two bikes, 1 dude...maybe he's homeless. A few minutes later I see a lady come out of the bushes and they leave the area...we'll this was good news for me as I was wanting to detect where they were anyway. When I got to the spot where they were there was some trash there so I picked it up (as I like to clean the area as I detect) and I realized that it was mail from several different addresses. I had a feeling this mail had been stolen and was recently opened as it was wet outside but the mail was still dry. I called the local police and they told me to bring it in so i did!!! A short time later I have the police calling me to come and identify the people!! Crazy....as it turns out the guy had a warrant out for his arrest the police had been looking for him for several months for burglary....they estimate he has stolen 10's of thousands of dollars in checks and cashed em'! The lady that was with him was also arrested. Now get this....as I was showing the officer where I found the mail, there was another guy just hanging out so they went to question him.....turns out he was also wanted and had a warrant out for burglary!!! OH WHAT A MORNING! The police thanked me and told me that I "really cleaned up the beach" this morning. OH YEAH, also found a dime and some sunglasses No images yet.
