for about 35 Years.

I did hit it for the first time
earlier this year With djm of PA
but the Heat at that time chased us.

Notice the different orientation of the field from 38 to today, also notice the grandstand is not there in 38. And, I think I might have been wrong about the other side of the street also.

When I Used the word "Heat" I Had a Feeling
somone would think cops :tongue3:

Jeff, you did great ! I think any day that you find multiple silvers , is a very good day out !
especially when you are finding silver quarters (kind of a tough find ) and mercs . Argentium.
 

WOW, so there were treasures there still waiting to be found? Congrats! Must have been much more comfortable than the mere 96 degrees the day we were there :D

I'm wondering why the N in USN is cockeyed. It looks to have been made that way? I don't understand that.

While researcing I'v seen several Versions

USN Straight Curved & The Dropped N

All attributed to WW2 but no Explination.

Curious also
