Had a full day at the plantation again today. This husband wife duo picked up lots of buttons, musket balls, partial buckles and a nice cut Spanish silver. There are a few things we weren’t quite sure what they were but knew they had to be something good. It’s not always about how valuable the item is but sometimes about how unique it is. We had a blast today. Hubby even got a nice rat tail spoon. For those that do not follow my previous hunts at this plantation...The property dates back to the late 1600’s/early 1700’s. The plantation itself was built in 1701 and was once turned into a civil war hospital. It was burned by the British during the war of 1812 (inside of the home). The inside was then rebuilt and restored in the early 1800’s. In other words...lots of history there.
